ANNA BARBARA HUONKER was born on 11 March 1818, in Schwarzwaldkreis, Wuerremberg,
Germany, to John Huonker and Chatharina Kaufmunne. Anna died on 16 January 1888, aged 69. She was buried in North English, Iowa, Iowa, USA.
John Jacob Shatz, aged 26, married Anna Barbara Huonker, aged 20, on 19 August 1838 in Pennsylvania. They had seven children:
