CATHERINE MCBRIDE MCKELLAR (John's mother) was born on 11 June 1888, in
Kirn, Argyll and Bute, Scotland, to Donald McKellar and Elizabeth
Ferguson. Catherine became known as Kate . Kate died on 18 November
1947, aged 59, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She was buried in Union
Cemetery, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
